A brand new wine, the Red Baron has landed at Fox Creek to claim his place in the vineyard. This suave character has taken control of some of our best shiraz vineyards in McLaren Vale as the original 'Red Baron' took control of the skies. Like the wine he is rich in character, distinctive and silky smooth and is guaranteed to woo any nearby vixen.

Fox Creek 2006 Red Baron Shiraz

Vibrant purple Satsuma plum.

bouquet
Lifted cherry ripe, rum & raisin with baked vanilla custard topped with plum and cherry fruits.

palate
Rich soft entry leads into a blend of fresh red berry, cherry and plum fruits framed with smooth ripe tannins, a solid core of red berry, cherry and plum fruits. A very soft and full mid palate with sweet ripe fruit, subtle balanced oak with juicy length.

This wine is made from Shiraz fruit from many of our best McLaren Vale vineyards.
