The Red Baron has landed at Fox Creek in McLaren Vale, bringing with him an exciting new Shiraz to add to their already impressive portfolio.
Tired of that upstart dog Shadow and the slinky little Vixen getting all the attention, the shy fox has come out of hiding with his very own shiraz and a new persona - 'The Red Baron'.
Like the Red Baron took control of the skies, the fox is now taking control of some of Fox Creek’s best vineyards to make his very own shiraz. This wine is rich in character, suave and silky smooth, just like the fox himself. Retiring no longer, the Red Baron is young, vibrant and full of life and guaranteed to woo any nearby vixen.
The 2005 Red Baron Shiraz is sourced from Fox Creek's McLaren Vale vineyards and is matured in American and French oak barrels. A lighter style of Shiraz, with lifted cherry and plum aromas, soft ripe fruit on the palate and a juicy long finish. Its easy drinking style is perfect for summer entertaining and ideally suited to a wide range of grilled meats, pasta and other Mediterranean dishes.
A great wine for drinking with friends or co-pilots, enjoy it while it is fresh, young and fruity.
Red Baron Shiraz is $17.00 RRP
Red Baron will be launched nationally from October and will be available from cellar door and at good wine stores and leading restaurants throughout Australia.
