For one weekend each March, thousands of people from across Australia gather in Adelaide's beautiful Botanic Park for WOMADelaide. Here they are enlightened and entertained by musicians, dancers, street theatre and visual artists from all corners of the globe. The world music, art and dance festival is held over four days and includes seven outdoor stages that feature world-class performances and intimate workshops by 35 cultural groups from more than 20 countries. WOMADelaide is indescribably lush as you can laze under the trees, shop, eat, drink and have fun with your family and friends to the soul-charging sounds of the planet’s diverse music.
